A dynamic graphic design business based in Slough, Berkshire has had their new Asterisk PBX installed by Cardiff IT Support Ltd. Due to the fact that they do
a large proportion of their business with clients in the USA, we configured the system to use both UK and USA telephone numbers. The company has different
trading names in the USA and in the UK so we have configured the phones to display the name of the company being called on their LCD display so that
the office staff can use the appropriate greeting.
For outbound calls we configured both UK and US VOIP trunks with the most appropriate trunk being selected automatically by the Asterisk system.
This will offer significant cost saving benefits to the client by routing calls that will terminate in the USA across the internet to a US telephone
company who offers cheap US calls.
Together with time-based call routing, voicemail, caller id, music on hold and transfer and a host of other benefits, Asterisk will help to enhance the
